Software Engineer

Location: Fully remote, UK based

Salary Range: £65k-£70k

What is the role?

****As our Software Engineer you will continuously develop new capability and technology choices based on the priorities set out by the technology strategy and roadmaps of the business at any one time. Be involved in client facing integrations, deployments, and software development consultancy opportunities where the business strategy dictates. Work with external companies on project deliverables and show proactive behaviours to deliver these.

Work with, but not limited to the following technologies: Blockchain, Java, Kotlin, GoLang, Spring, Web Services / APIs, AWS, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, Cryptography.

Be proactive to suggest and work with new technologies where required to meet priorities.

Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Working on client facing projects, integrations, and deployments based on the latest business strategy – to include APIs and integrations with 3rd party systems and deployments to 3rd party infrastructure
• Working on client consultancy projects and being proactive in delivering the outcomes required based on the latest business strategy.
• Lead on areas of development and bring other members of the team into those areas where required and set development priorities within those areas.
• Be proactive in promoting new approaches and technology to the team
• Always be client driven
• Be self-starting in all areas.

What do I need to be able to do? (Skills)

• Backend Development with Java or Go
• Blockchain/ Web3 experience desired but not essential
• Cloud infrastructure experience
• Self-starting and is proactive in promoting new approaches and technology to the team
